Lionel Newman
Lionel Newman was an American composer born on January 4, 1916. He was the younger brother of famous composer, Alfred Newman. His scores include Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), Love Me Tender (1956), and A Kiss Before Dying (1956). Some of his Intrada features include The Proud Ones (1956), The Last Wagon (1956), and North to Alaska (1960). Newman died on February 3, 1989.
