MCA Records
MCA Records was the record label established from the talent agency and a television production company Music Corporation of America (MCA, Inc.) in 1962, following a merger with Decca Records. MCA records worked with artists from a variety of genres and also issued soundtrack albums for most films released by Universal Pictures. The label was absorbed by Geffen Records in 2003, although its country music label, MCA Nashville Records, is still currently in operation.
