London Records is a British Record Label born in the 1940s when the British branch of Decca Records split from its American counterpart. Because Decca was unable to use the "Decca" name in North America, their records were released in the United States under the London label. The label has since been relaunched in 2011 under the ownership of Universal Music Group.
