Franz Waxman

Franz Waxman is a German composer born on December 24, 1906, in what is now Poland. His most famous projects include The Young at Heart (1938), Sunset Blvd. (1950), and A Place in the Sun (1951), the latter two winning him Oscars for Best Music, Scoring of a Dramatic or Comedy Picture. He died on February 24, 1967.
