David Raksin
David Raksin was an American composer born on August 4, 1912. Due to his work on over 400 television and film scores, Raksin earned the nickname of the "Grandfather of Film Music." His scores include Laura (1944), Forever Amber (1947), and Separate Tables (1958). His Intrada features include Hilda Crane (1956). Raksin died on August 9, 2004.
