    • Intrada announces the CD release of John Coda's score to Bau, Artist at War. Elegantly performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic, the score is often tender and warm, prominently featuring piano as one of the solo colors. The score maintains a sense of hope throughout, even during the darkest parts of Bau's journey. Composer John Coda reflects on the score:

"Composing the music for this film was a journey in itself, one that mirrored the powerful true story it accompanies. My aspiration was to thematically capture the full spectrum of the character’s experiences—from the depths of despair and the struggle for survival to the blossoming of love and the pursuit of justice. It was an honor to contribute musically to this story, and it is my hope that this soundtrack serves as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit."

The film is a biographical drama about Joseph Bau, a Polish-Jewish artist and Holocaust survivor. Set largely in the Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp, the film follows Bau as he uses his artistic skills to forge documents, preserve hope, and help others survive under Nazi terror. Amid the brutality, he meets and secretly marries Rebecca, a fellow prisoner. Their love story endures despite unimaginable circumstances. After the war, Bau is called to testify against a Nazi officer responsible for his family’s suffering, forcing him to relive painful memories.
