Forty-two years after it first premiered, Big Finish launched a reimagining of the premiere episode, “Breakaway,” and it became an instant hit. Joe Kraemer began his first film score in 1986 when, at the age of 15, he was acting in an independent feature for director Scott Storm. Since then he has composed music for over 100 feature films, television episodes and movies, documentaries, and audio dramas. He is perhaps best known for his award-winning score to MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE-ROGUE NATION (2015 Action Score of the Year, IFMCA), as well as JACK REACHER in 2012.
Other notable works include THE MAN WHO KILLED HITLER AND THEN THE BIGFOOT, THE WAY OF THE GUN, TV series such as PANDORA, CREEPED OUT, and COMRADE DETECTIVE, and the documentary KING COHEN about the films of director Larry Cohen. In 2016, he composed a new score for the 1927 film SUNRISE by F.W. Murnau, which premiered live-to-picture in Dallas and has since been performed all over the world. In his spare time, Joe likes pizza parties and meeting new people.
