Press Release from Music Box:In collaboration with Eagles Team Entertainment and 24 25 Films, Music Box Records presents the new score composed by acclaimed composer Philippe Rombi (Merry Christmas, Angel, War of the Buttons). The film Visions (2023), written and directed by Yann Gozlan (A Perfect Man, Black Box), stars Diane Kruger, Mathieu Kassovitz and Marta Nieto.
Estelle, a brilliant airline captain, has a perfect life with her husband Guillaume, a renowned doctor. Something is about to change as Estelle falls in love with Ana and starts an intense affair. She gets recurring visions, nightmares and hallucinations and starts losing grip on reality.
For this psychological thriller, Philippe Rombi composed a very Herrmannesque main theme based on twisting strings and harp glissandi. The rest of his score sets the tone for an unsettling tension and mystery, mixing orchestral score with some brooding electronic textures.
Visions is released in French theaters on September 6, 2023.
