Store Policy
All compact discs are new and fully guaranteed. Most CDs are presented by the manufacturers in plastic jewel cases. Many travel great distances from a variety of distributors and wholesalers throughout the world. Given they are made of plastic, it's amazing how many of them actually arrive unblemished. However, the occasional cracked jewel case will appear. Where practical we try to replace these with a new case. If you receive a re-wrapped CD it is for this reason and remains new unless specified otherwise. All CDs remain fully guaranteed. If a disc is defective it can be returned for a replacement copy, a refund, or credit, whichever you prefer. It is not necessary to ask permission prior to returning a defective disc but returns must be made within 30 days of the invoice or the guarantee will be void. We cannot be responsible for returned goods lost in the mail.

The Retail Store
Intrada is a retail store specializing in soundtrack sales through mail order. Dedicated to carrying the latest and greatest soundtracks available on CD, Intrada has a giant selection of major label releases, independent label titles, imports, hard-to-find collectibles and one-of-a-kind rarities. Our store is committed to providing expert advice, great prices and fast, friendly service.
Our retail history dates back to 1980 in San Francisco, as one half of a shop entitled Cinemonde, selling LPs and movie memorabilia. In 1984, the store was renamed Intrada and dedicated solely to soundtracks. In January 1996 our website was launched, and in April 1999, the store was relocated to its current location in Oakland.
The Intrada Label
Intrada is a label producing quality movie and television soundtracks on CD since 1985. In addition to standard releases, Intrada features The Excalibur Collection, a series of world premiere re-recordings of classic film scores, carefully reconstructed and performed by world class orchestras. Intrada also features a special series of important limited edition soundtracks, produced in full cooperation with various film studios and the American Federation of Musicians.
The Staff
Douglass Fake is owner and President of Intrada. He's a composer, soundtrack producer, collector and Dad, combining a variety of interests into his role as Intrada's musical director. In addition to producing the albums, Doug also performs all digital editing and final mastering chores in Intrada's own studio.
Store Manager Jeff Johnson is a film director and video editor who began collecting soundtracks back in 1976. An employee of Intrada since 1990, he maintains the store inventory and manages daily store activities.
Marketing Director Roger Feigelson handles publicity for Intrada. In addition to marketing duties, Roger coordinates album releases. Somewhere in his busy schedule he also finds time to produce numerous projects.
George Champagne handles mail room tasks. In addition to controlling all packaging supplies and mailing needs, George actually gets the parcels wrapped and sends them on their way to you. In the unlikely event any problem occurs with your order - it's most likely due to George - certainly not Doug, Jeff or Roger.
Information System Specialist Mark Hammon performs the computer and networking chores that enables the Intrada site to display up-to-the-minute new release information..
Design Director Joe Sikoryak joined Intrada in 1998. He is responsible for the look and feel of all Intrada releases, and keeps his eye on the iconography of past and present pop culture. |
