Press Release from Beat:
I DOLCI VIZI DELLA CASTA SUSANNA (THE SWEET SINS OF SEXY SUSAN) belongs to a genre that can only be called “decamerotic.” The Italian-Austrian-Hungarian co-production was directed in 1967 by Franz Antel and starred Teri Tordai, Mike Marshall and Pascal Petit.
The most memorable aspect of this humorous comedy with blushing cheeks is surely the beautiful score by the late Maestro Gianni Ferrio. Cheerful, lively and baroque-flavored sounds explode in unchained shakes and beat cues that will make fans of the genre, the maestro and film music in general go crazy.
Thanks to the discovery of the original master tapes, preserved in a wonderful stereo, it was possible to prepare a CD lasting more than 70 minutes that outclasses the quality and quantity of the original LP program. An expanded edition of a beautiful score in a presentation that truly does it justice!
The CD is released in a jewel case with a 12-page booklet illustrated by Alessio Iannuzzi, mastering by Claudio Fuiano and liner notes (in Italian and English) by Fabio Babini.
