Original music by John Barry for highly problematic James Bridges thriller with Debra Winger. Scoring of film underwent numerous changes with final film containing some Joe Jackson source music, some John Barry music. Barry contrbutes smoky but restrained score for strings, keyboards. Rising diatonic four-note motif recurs, anchors entire score. Nicely recorded music which pays off in repeated plays, albeit album artwork is a distraction. John Barry conducts. Limited edition of 3000 copies.
