Elfman writes for full orchestra, builds bulk of mesmerizing score from single minor-key harmonic progression that takes rich dips into major. While other tiny motifs play role, Elfman keeps original harmonic progression close by throughout. Some influence of Philip Glass makes appearance but Elfman retains signature as well. Pete Anthony conducts Hollywood Studio Symphony.
