John Powell melds two diverse musical elements into sometimes moving, sometimes jarring score. First is elegiac line for solo trumpet in minor key. Melody is moving, sad. (Listeners should note incredibly smooth playing by Jon Lewis.) In contrast is more aggressive, grinding material for electric guitar, drums. Former lingers, latter dissipates.
