Original soundtrack from Xavier Gens action movie with Timothy Olyphant, Dougray Scott, drawn from Eidos video game. Geoff Zanelli writes with emphasis on action, uses orchestra with spotlight on strings, percussion plus electronics. Composer gives interesting symmetry to music via use of chopping eighth-note melodic motif that compliments steady rhythms underneath. Two alternating chords in major frequently appear, bring further cohesion to music. Crisp recording made by Didier Lize in Paris. Additional music credited to Ryeland Allison, Bobby Tahouri.
