Remastered release of classic original album from second James Bond 007 adventure starring Sean Connery. Features Lionel Bart's memorable theme song, sung by Matt Munro. John Barry's brassy action music established voice for other chapters to follow. Lean string writing, repeating motifs for horn, trumpet are highlights. Guitars, harp, tympani and gypsy rhythms add exotic flavor. Of major interest: that "other" James Bond theme ("007") debuts here.
