Press Release from Cinevox:
ANCHE SE VOLESSI LAVORARE, CHE FACCIO? is a drama movie directed in year 1972 by Flavio Mogherini. Subject by Falvio Mogherini photography by Arturo Zavattini editing by Mauro Morra music score by Ennio Morricone produced by Eurovision distributed by Titanus cast: Enzo Cerusico, Ninetto Davoli, Adriana Asti, Maurizio Arena, Giovanni Barbato, Vittorio Caprioli, Francesca Romana Coluzzi, Fiorenzo Fiorentini, Luciano Salce, Paolo Rosani, Leopoldo Trieste.
At the time of the movie’s theatrical release Cinevox Records printed a 33 rpm (MDF 33/56) with ten selections in stereo, later same material re-issued in Canada on a 33 rpm (Olympus Records OR 300).First CD re-issued in year 2004 (Cinevox CD MDF 353) containing 4 extra-tracks. This brand new re-issue has been properly restored/remastered (for example in the previous CD, for technical troubles we could use a mono mix only of the track 6, now with the original stereo mix of the original LP). Ennio Morricone has written music that recalls some atmosphere between Petri and Pasolini, often with some electronic effects, with popular mood and Pop influences. There are two recurring main themes: one very nostalgic called “Tramonto” with the amazing whistle of Alessandro Alessandroni, the other of popular flavor called “Lei se ne more” performed by choir I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni. This latest CD re-issue with a total time of 39:43, besides the original LP program and the four extra tracks from the previous CD, includes a top rarity: Christy performs “Lei se ne more” with a Pop vein. For every archive sacred to the genius of Ennio Morricone.
